In the early evening, we were talking to some friends on the front verandah. Someone drew attention to an impressive sight over the ocean. For a moment, I thought that it was sun setting over the sea – a view that one grows accustom to when living on the west coast. Then I realised it was rising rather than setting. The view was a spectacular moonrise over the ocean.
