March 11th, 2009Erik from Coasties Big Shed finally delivered the trapezoid crates this morning. The plan is to have these containers serve as large hot composting bins. Erik drove a ute with the crates on a trailer and had no problem backing up the driveway. However, as the railway sleepers are still in the drive way the crates could not be wheeled to the back. The driveway has now turned into some sort of holding bay.

Look here’s an idea. not sure if it will work. but have you thought about tying a rope around them (individually of course) and both of you dragging it along the ground?

Our friend, Brogan, also suggested that this is the way to do it. The downside is that the ground will take a beating. I have an image of those people who tie a rope around their waists and attach the other end to a car tire (like I have seen down on Austinmere beach!).
The problem has now been resolved – see post on March 13.
