Seasonal Almanac

The temperature on the coast heated up to 30.5 degrees at 4 am this morning. We naively left the windows open hoping to let the night air through only to find the strong north north-westerly warmed up the house.

With friends visiting this afternoon, we planned to head for the waters in early evening. With the wind changing to a south-easterly direction, the temperature dropped sharply at around 3 pm. When we arrived at the beach, the front was already rolling in. The earlier rain splatter seemed to have emptied the entire coast, leaving us brave souls swimming in the gradually cooling water.
