We found ourselves invited to a friendly welcoming party (held for Ulanda Blair) at Tokyo Wonder Site Aoyama which later evolved into a wildly entertaining night at a nearby karoke bar. A number of visiting artists-in-residence showcased their latent performative talents which kept us in Shibuya until the wee hours of the morning. Having missed the last train to Takadanobaba (by a long long shot), we waited for the first train home.
Shibuya had exhausted itself and the famous crossing was almost empty. Some people were catching an early breakfast of noodles under the railway bridge before heading for the crowded first train home.
