Frost descent 8 of 15The minimum temperature has been steadily falling in the past fornight. The last couple of days saw the temperatures dropping sharply. The month’s minimum so far is 9.5 degrees recorded at 3 am this morning.

Today is one of those beautiful Autumn days that inspires picnics and we manage to squeeze one in at work. For lunch, we sit outside on one of the benches that dot around a sunny patch of lawn outside the Education building. On the menu is beef stew and mashed potatoes, creamy salmon and chives pasta with salad, cups of hot lemon grass and ginger tea, an apple and a banana, served in the ‘tranquil bushland setting’ of uow.
