« previous :: next »Kanro: Sparrows enter the water and turn into clams/ chrysanthemums bloom (1 of 5)
October 15th, 2008I have been told today that I can expect to wait for at least another month before the maples in Tokyo turn red. Despite some optimistic fashionistas’ early scraf-adorning and some public spaces’ switching on the heating, the weather is still warm (but comfortably so). As it is evidenced by encountering several types of butterflies in a nearby parks. The persimmons in the supermarket are already on special yet the ones on the trees are only just ripening. I don’t expect to see ‘kanro’ (cold dew) for a while.
