In A natural resolve, Cam Merton continues to explore the creation and manipulation of virtual environments through “natural” energies. The principal driving force behind the investigations is to create a kind of abstracted secondary pattern recognition system. These virtual environments are the canvas or lexicon and the ensuing algorithms borne from the natural data streams created shape and “language” with the constituent elements.
Cam wants to be able to visualise the patterns via a sceondary agent and whilst not being far removed from the simialr enquiries within a scientific context, his ulitmate goal is to then push this language into the territory of narrative both utilising traditional language as well as a more abstracted notion of narrative and its potential multiple threads.
